Ask me for a word to describe today’s evening and all you will hear is “KARMA” with an addition of sweet giggles and guilt.
It was a normal day which descended to the evening by me walking down the bridge stairs. I heard a sudden break by the tempo which drew my attention to the little creature almost beneath it. It was a puppy who was so weak that could stand and get away. I went and grabbed the little one and came to the safe side. I started looking for the spot so that I can make this puppy land. The street was so crowded that I couldn’t choose one. I walked bit more and saw another puppy dead with flies over it, probably died due to an accident. This puppy in my hand showed no movements, almost freezes. Must be hungry? I went to shop and tried feeding him biscuits. Being a cute and adorable, people started gathering us and asking questions about him. Interacting with them, I came to know that the puppy was so small that he could only be made to have water and milk. I decided to take help from my best friend who had the experience of petting dogs. We had a brief talk and ended up taking the little one to my place.
In my room, we fed him water first and then milk. It was so adorable. He used to climb my lap and find a good spot and sleep. We waited for sometime and meanwhile tried taking a decision of me keeping it or not. I always wanted to have dogs but my father never allowed me to have one. So, there was no chance of me keeping him. At last we decided to leave him on his own in any safe place. I tried waking him up, but all it did was lick my hands and again take a nap. “You have to go…!!” We took him and made our way to find a better place for him to stay. This time, he started taking his steps, started running and chasing people. I promise, we felt so good and happy. But when we started getting away from it, he used to cry. At last we made him sleep outside a temple and left him there alone.
I swear, it was not a good feeling. I hope he doesn’t cry looking for me and live healthy. How I wish that my father would have approved for him.
But through all this, Me and my best friend named him “KARMA”. Thanks bestie… He was the best that happened to me in my entire life. WE Love you karma… I was happy to meet you but guilty to not have you.
Good one sweetheart
